Learn about what Cottage On Kent has to offer

A Little About  Us

The owner has created Cottage on Kent to offer an accessibility friendly accommodation with the needs of people living with disabilities in mind. When her own health journey began, she found that requesting a "disability-friendly room" on holidays often resulted in a hospital like environment, not a comfortable, welcoming space. Disability looks different for everyone, so while it's impossible to cater to every individual's needs, the owner has aimed to provide helpful and comforting additions.

Cottage on Kent offers accessible facilities such as bathrooms and toilets with functional shower seat and support rails, an electric disability support bed, sensor lights at ankle height and other enhancements. These features are seamlessly integrated, so guests won't feel surrounded by medical equipment, but rather by objects that can make their stay more comfortable and easy. The goal is for guests to spend their holiday with the support they need from a disability friendly accommodation whilst being relaxed and comfortable.
